About this site
Windsock is a shore dive site on Bonaire, located near the airport on the leeward side of the island, close to Kralendijk. Like most Bonaire sites it is marked by a yellow rock and reached by walking in from the roadside, with a shallow reef flat leading out to a slope. The name refers to the wind sock at the nearby airstrip, used as a landmark for finding the entry point. The site tops out at around 10 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it a straightforward, easy entry option along this stretch of coast.
