About this site
This dive site near Port Macquarie offers a mix of rocky reefs and sandy patches, teeming with marine life. Expect to see schools of bream, wobbegong sharks, and colorful nudibranchs. The site is known for its resident eastern rock lobsters, locally called yabbies, often spotted in crevices. Gentle currents and good visibility make it ideal for beginners. The reef slopes to around 15 meters, with occasional visits from rays and turtles. A great spot for macro photography and relaxed exploration.
