Alati is a wall dive where the boat sits over a small plateau and the dive circles it, starting at a depth of 18 metres. Depending on the current, the circuit runs clockwise or anti-clockwise along the plateau, and a small canyon cuts into the wall.
The canyon gives a good chance of seeing Spanish lobsters and the dark-pointed dorid nudibranch. Large groupers are a feature of the site, and a patch of white sand and stones beneath the boat is a good place to look for octopus. A shallower area beside the plateau offers swim-throughs and plenty of coral.
