The Erl King is a shipwreck in Biscayne National Park, Florida, part of the park's Maritime Heritage Trail of six shipwrecks. The 305-foot (93 m) steel-hulled steamship was built in 1865 and sank in 1891 when she ran aground on Long Reef. She was carrying wooden barrels of concrete mix. The wood has long since been eaten away, but concrete blocks remain in the shape of the barrels. She lies in 18 feet (5.5 m) of water.
The wreck is showing its age but works well as an artificial reef, with angelfish, moray eels and trumpetfish among the residents.
