Mantaray Bay is a reef dive site located off Hook Island in the Whitsundays, recognised as one of the best dive and snorkel sites among the inshore islands. The site reaches a maximum depth of 25 metres, with the seafloor accessed by passing through underwater caves, valleys, and swim-throughs that characterise the terrain.
The reef supports a rich diversity of hard and soft corals alongside abundant marine life. Manta Rays visit the site during winter, making that season particularly rewarding for divers seeking encounters with them.
Mantaray Bay is a year-round diving destination, suitable for both diving and snorkelling.
