Punta Morcone is a wall dive off the Island of Elba, Italy, positioned directly in front of the headland that gives it its name. The dive begins at a shallow cap at 3 m and descends along the wall to a maximum depth of 40 m.
The wall is covered in parazoanthus, and at around 27 m the rock opens into dens holding octopus, conger eels, and moray eels. Continuing down, divers encounter yellow gorgonians and grouper. On the ascent through posidonia seagrass, gobies, torpedo rays, wrasse, damselfish, and cuttlefish are commonly found. The final return to the surface is typically accompanied by damselfish throughout the water column.
The dive is conducted from a boat, with divers returning to the vessel at the end of the ascent.
