About this site
Camp One is a reef dive site known for its mellow character, with a depth range of 20–50 ft (6–15.2 m) and generally light currents, making it well suited to beginner divers.
The terrain features interesting topography built around plating coral, with black coral also present throughout the site. Longnose hawkfish are regularly found sheltering in the black coral.
Camp One supports a solid variety of marine life: nudibranchs, frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, longnose hawkfish, white tip reef sharks, turtles, and lobsters are all regularly encountered here. Hammerheads have been spotted at this site as well.
