Lower Doubles is a natural ledge reef off Palm Beach, one of the ledge sites south of Lake Worth Inlet that local divers call the Doubles. It is dived as a drift along the ledge. The reef lies in about 50 to 70 feet (15 to 21 m) of water. Divers make a negative entry and descend straight to the reef, so the group stays together in the current, then drift the ledge and surface under a float for pickup. A dive runs about 45 minutes on air, or 55 to 60 minutes on Nitrox.
