Mafia Bay is a steep-wall dive on the island of Krk in the northern Adriatic, Croatia. It is really two dive sites, and the wall drops to about 40 m.
Northern wall. Leaving the bay towards the north, you are only a few metres from one of the most colourful and fish-rich steep faces in the area. A variety of sea snails in different colours can be found on every stone, even with untrained eyes.
Southern wall. A steep wall extends to the south with a straight, and in places overhanging, drop from the surface to 40 m.
At the end of the cliff lies a small speedboat wreck, which gives the bay its name. It was a cigarette-smuggling boat that the Coast Guard sank.
