Mari Mabuk is a wreck dive on Tomia Island in the Wakatobi, one of more than 40 named and mapped sites around the island. It is reached by boat and counts among the best-known dives on Tomia, alongside the Wreck of Kulati, Roma, Ali Reef and Niko Alu of Kulati.
Visibility is great and the water stays between about 26 and 30°C. Corals and sponges grow over the wreck, schooling fish gather around it, and divers have reported green turtles and dugongs here. Sharp rusted metal is the main hazard, so keep hands and gear clear of the structure.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
