Trailblazer is a reef dive site characterised by a protruding ridge that drops through a steep slope and wall, with depths ranging from 6 m to 50 m, making it a technical dive rated at the intermediate-to-advanced level.
The terrain divides the dive into two distinct phases: the ridge itself is crammed with corals and well suited to wide-angle photography, while the later section follows a fringing reef where the focus shifts to macro subjects along the slope and wall.
Trailblazer is known for housing large frogfish on the ridge, and the fringing reef section yields pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, flatworms, and shrimps.
