About this site
Fantasy Reef is a separate reef structure located at the south-east end of a larger reef system, distinct from the main reef and known for its abundance of coral coverage and concentrated reef activity.
The terrain features large schools of fish moving through coral-rich water, with a sandy bottom surrounding the reef where leopard sharks are occasionally spotted resting.
Marine life at Fantasy Reef includes large schools of barracuda, trevallies, and snapper, along with leopard sharks found in the sand around the reef. The site is noted as a good place to observe active reef dynamics with multiple species present simultaneously.
