Turtle Rock is a dive site situated west of Donald Duck Bay on Island 7, named after the turtle-shaped rock that marks the entry point. The site reaches a maximum depth of 40 m and its shallowest point sits at around 5 m, making it suitable for a wide range of dives, though it is rated intermediate. The terrain consists of a series of boulders and staghorn coral with fun swim-throughs throughout.
Marine life at Turtle Rock lives up to its name, with an abundance of turtles regularly encountered. Ghostpipe fish and nudibranchs reward macro enthusiasts, while sweetlips, groupers, and angelfish represent the typical reef fish population. Fusiliers, surgeonfish, trevallies, jacks, mackerel, and barracuda are also present, along with whitetip and blacktip sharks and the occasional dolphin.
The site sits in a sheltered bay, making it a popular afternoon dive and an overnight mooring location for liveaboard vessels. Current is generally light, though it is tidal-dependent and can run strong at times; slack water or mid-tide conditions are preferred. Visibility is good, and water temperature ranges from 26–30°C depending on season.
