Marine Park Centre Reef is Tioman's protected house reef, located near Tekek jetty within Tioman Marine Park, Malaysia. The reef runs from 5 m to a maximum of 10 m depth, making it one of the shallowest and most accessible dive sites on the island. It is well suited to beginner divers, refresher courses, and night dives.
The reef bottom is light current, with good visibility, and the shallow, sheltered nature of the site keeps conditions manageable for new divers. The diving season runs from March through October, with the monsoon closing the site from November to February; peak conditions fall between June and August.
Marine life at the site includes giant grouper, moray eel, damselfish, sergeant majors, wrasses, parrotfish, triggerfish, Napoleon wrasses, adult blacktip sharks, batfish, angelfish, banded pipefish, nudibranchs, blacktip reef sharks, and leopard sharks.
Access is by boat from Tekek jetty. All divers must pay the Tioman Marine Park conservation fee before entering the water. A Marine Park fee of RM 30 for foreign adults applies at the Marine Park Centre near Tekek jetty.
