Power Station is a wall dive site in Aqaba, Jordan, named after the power station located directly outside the diving area. The reef slopes down to 12 metres before dropping vertically to as deep as 200 metres, making it one of the more dramatic drop-offs in the Red Sea. The site is conducted as a drift dive from north to south, and the wall and drop-off are described as spectacular, with abundant life across both the reef slope and the shallows. It sits just 10 metres from shore, though boat entry is the primary means of access.
The site suits divers from beginner through to technical level, with the full depth range of 5 to 200 metres accommodating a wide spread of experience. Technical divers requiring decompression can make their stops on the shallow reef, which offers enough life to make the wait worthwhile. The site features two marked buoys — a buoy and a port buoy — noted as hot spots on the reef.
Marine life at Power Station includes several humphead wrasses, large moray eels, sharks, and other large pelagic creatures. The deeper waters along the wall host larger fish, and the coral reef along the wall and slope supports an abundance of reef life throughout the water column.
