Don Quickset is a reef dive site at Utila, with the top of the reef sitting at 3–4.5 metres (10–15 ft). The reef then drops to around 15 metres (50 ft), where a canyon-like channel bottoms out in a large sandy area at roughly 21 metres (70 ft). Towards the east, the topography becomes more varied, with outcroppings, overhangs, nooks, crannies, and smaller channels offering plenty to explore.
The site regularly hosts large Nurse Sharks, Southern Stingrays, Snapper, Grouper, Tarpon, and Sea Turtles. Schools of juvenile fish are frequently found in the shallower areas on top of the reef.
With a maximum depth of around 21 metres (70 ft) and a shallow reef crest starting at just 3 metres (10 ft), Don Quickset is well suited to beginner divers.
