The SS Suddhadib, also known as the Hardeep, is a World War II combat wreck and one of the signature dive sites in the Pattaya region of Thailand. The wreck sits at depths of 26–28 metres, making it a dive reserved for advanced-certified divers.
The structure is a true wreck dive with a bottom depth reaching 26–28 m, consistent with the verified maximum of 26.5 m. The site's WWII history gives it particular character, and the hull and superstructure provide a framework colonised by soft corals, with groupers, barracuda, and lionfish regularly found around the wreck.
The best conditions for diving the SS Suddhadib fall within the November to May season, which aligns with the cleaner, calmer weather typical of the Gulf of Thailand during those months. The advanced difficulty rating reflects both the depth and the conditions that can be encountered at the site.
