Amed lies on the northeast coast of Bali, a stretch of coastline known for black sand shores and calm bays favored by traditional outrigger fishing boats. This site, referred to locally as the little wall, is rated an intermediate dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres. Divers have reported leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and seahorses along the wall, making it a spot favored for close looks at smaller reef life rather than big pelagic action.
