Anemone City is a reef dive site located on the east side of Daedalus Reef, an isolated offshore reef in the Red Sea situated approximately 90 km from the coast. It is considered among the most photographed reef scenes in the Red Sea, notable for its concentration of anemones of every size, colour, and shape.
The site reaches a maximum depth of 18 m with a reef bottom, and conditions are protected with light current and good visibility, making it well suited to beginner divers.
The reef is densely populated with carpet anemones and clownfish alongside a wide variety of reef fish. Photographers and macro divers will also find seahorses, pipefishes, double-ended pipefishes, frogfishes, nudibranchs, snake eels, flounder, sole, dragonets, stargazers, and cuttlefish on and around the reef.
