About this site
Police Wreck is an artificial reef in the Perhentian Islands of Malaysia, made up of three wrecks that were sunk in 2012. It is only a five-minute boat ride from Long Beach.
You follow the buoy line down to 18 to 20 m (59 to 66 ft). The wrecks suit divers of any certification level and are also a favourite for night dives.
The structures shelter boxer shrimp, two kinds of pipefish, nudibranchs, trevally, roving coral groupers, several species of pufferfish and scorpionfish. Plenty of rays and stingrays use the site, along with flathead crocodilefish and bamboo sharks.
