About this site
Guanaja is the easternmost of Honduras's Bay Islands, sitting on the barrier reef system that runs along the Mesoamerican Reef in the western Caribbean. Afternoon Delight is a named dive site on the reef fringing this island, reached by boat from the small cays and settlements around Guanaja. Divers here have reported bluestriped grunts, Brazilian ocean surgeonfish, doctorfish, horse-eye jacks, and slippery dick wrasse moving over the reef.
