About this site
Rainbow Reef lies off Guanaja, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras, in the western Caribbean north of the mainland coast. Guanaja's reef sites are typically reached by short boat rides from the island's dive operators. Divers here have reported a mix of reef fish including Atlantic sergeant majors, banded butterflyfish, Caribbean bluehead wrasse, doctorfish, French and white grunts, schoolmaster snapper, slippery dicks, and giant anemones dotting the reef structure.
