Anita's Reef

Anita's Reef sits off Ha Island (Koh Ha) in the Similan Islands, part of Mu Ko Similan National Park off the Andaman coast of Southern Thailand. It is a granite boulder and coral reef reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres, rated a beginner dive with light current and good visibility, and is often used as an easy check dive or second dive for groups visiting by liveaboard from Khao Lak or Phuket. The reef holds angelfish, clownfish, garden eels, ghost pipefish, lionfish, nudibranchs, and trevally, and divers have also reported barracuda, damselfish, frogfish, fusiliers, grouper, humphead wrasse, octopus, ornate ghost pipefish, scorpionfish, snapper, sweetlips, triggerfish, tuna, and wrasse here. Moray eels have been noted tucked into the reef's dark holes, worth some caution when peering into crevices.
