Avana Passage is a channel through the reef on the eastern side of Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands of the South Pacific, near Avana Harbour, an area historically used as a launching point for outrigger voyaging canoes. The dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner site.
