About this site
Baixa Da Feteira lies off the coast of Faial in the Azores archipelago, in the mid-Atlantic waters of Portugal. The Azores are volcanic in origin, and this site is a submerged rock formation reached by boat from Faial's coastal towns. It reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported barracuda and grouper around the site.
