About this site
Batu Kuching lies off Lang Tengah Island, a small island off the coast of Terengganu on Malaysia's east coast, within the same marine area as neighboring Redang and Perhentian islands. Dive sites around Lang Tengah are typically reached by short boat trips from the island's resorts. This one reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported choppy sea, currents, and waves at the site, so conditions can be demanding. Grouper and pufferfish have also been spotted here.
