Golden Passage lies within Komodo National Park, in the waters of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, and is typically reached by boat from Labuan Bajo through the channels and straits between the park's islands. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, rated advanced due to strong currents that run through the site. Visibility is generally great, and manta rays and Napoleon wrasse are regular sights along the reef. Divers have also reported eagle rays, leaf scorpionfish, snapper, sweetlips, and trevally here.
