About this site
Beacon Reef sits just off Sharm El Sheikh in the Red Sea, known for its vibrant coral formations and steep walls. The site features a mix of hard and soft corals teeming with reef fish, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks. Currents can be strong, making it ideal for drift diving. The shallow plateau offers excellent for beginners, while deeper sections challenge advanced divers. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters, with warm water year-round. The reef's pinnacle attracts schooling fish, creating dramatic underwater scenes. Night dives reveal nocturnal creatures like octopus and lionfish.
