About this site
Beechey Head sits along the coastline near Sooke, on southern Vancouver Island in British Columbia, where the strait waters open toward the Juan de Fuca corridor. As a wall dive, it reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is considered suitable for beginners. Divers have also noted eddies, a steep rocky shore, strong swells, and unpredictable currents around the site, so conditions at the surface and shoreline are worth watching even on a shallow dive here.
