About this site
Beyru Kandu is a channel (kandu) site in Rasdhu Atoll, part of Raa Atoll in the northern Maldives, where the reef cuts through to open ocean and connects the inner lagoon with the surrounding sea. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported eagle rays, manta rays, reef sharks, lobster, and nudibranchs along the wall here.
