Miyaru Faru is a faru, a submerged reef formation typical of the Maldives atolls, forming a wall dive at this location in the archipelago. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres over a wall bottom and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers here regularly encounter lionfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, and reef sharks along the wall, with manta rays also present at the site.
