North Channel

North Channel lies within Rasdhu Atoll, part of Raa Atoll in the northern Maldives, along a channel connecting the atoll's lagoon to the open sea where boats from local dive operators access the reef edges. It is a reef dive to a maximum depth of around 22 metres, rated beginner with medium current running through the channel. Eagle rays are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported angelfish, batfish, damselfish, and fusilier along the reef, along with occasional encounters with leopard sharks, manta rays, and sea turtles.
