Lambay Island lies off the coast of north County Dublin, in the Irish Sea within the province of Leinster. Bishop's Bay is a stretch of the island's shoreline, reached by boat from the mainland harbours nearby, such as Rush or Skerries. The bay is a shallow dive, reaching only around 5 metres, and is generally considered suitable for beginners. Divers have reported swell here, along with waves breaking over a rock just under the surface, so conditions are worth checking before entry.
