About this site
Lambay Island lies off the coast of north County Dublin, in the Irish Sea, and is the largest island off the eastern coast of Ireland. Tailor's Rocks marks a rocky feature along its shoreline, typical of the exposed granite coastline that surrounds the island, and dive boats reaching this area usually launch from harbours such as Rush or Skerries on the adjacent Dublin coast. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Wrasse have been spotted along the reef, and divers have also reported strong currents in the area.
