Blonde Rock

Blonde Rock lies in the channel between Salt Island and Dead Chest in the British Virgin Islands, a submerged pinnacle rising from the seabed that does not break the surface. It is a well known BVI dive site, popular for its rock formations, swim-throughs, and the chance of encountering larger pelagic fish along with reef species such as grouper and stingrays. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated an advanced dive, with current running through the channel over the pinnacle's ridges and canyons. It is commonly dived alongside nearby sites like the RMS Rhone, as boats often combine the two on the same outing from Road Town or Tortola.
