About this site
Butcher's Bank sits off Roatan, the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands in the Caribbean Sea, an area whose north and south shores are lined with fringing reef dive sites reached mostly by short boat rides from local dive operators. The site tops out around 18.3 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported jacks and amberjack, parrotfish, pipefish, sea turtles, and snapper moving over the reef.
