Vatu-i-ra is a channel and passage area between Fiji's Vanua Levu and Viti Levu, an area of strong currents where the Bligh Water meets deeper ocean passages. The region is known generally as a soft coral area for Fiji dive operators running trips out of Rakiraki or Savusavu, but Bula Maker as a named site does not match a specific dive documented with confidence.
