Bundengi Reef sits off the Pilbara coast of Western Australia, near the Exmouth Gulf and Onslow area, in waters known for fringing reef systems along this stretch of the North West Shelf. It is a shallow site with a maximum depth of around 2 metres, making it more suited to snorkelling or a very shallow dive than deeper reef exploration.
