About this site
Coral Cay lies off Bastimentos Island in the Bocas del Toro archipelago on Panama's Caribbean coast, an area of mangrove channels, small cays, and fringing reef patches. Dive and snorkel sites around this part of the archipelago are typically reached by short boat rides from Bocas Town or from lodges on Bastimentos itself. The reef here tops out at around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an easy option for those staying in the area. Divers have also reported barracuda passing through the site.
