About this site
This vibrant reef sits near Tortuga Island in Costa Rica's Gulf of Nicoya. Expect clear Pacific waters with mild currents, perfect for beginners. The site teems with colorful tropical fish, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks. Rocky outcrops create swim-throughs and overhangs, while sandy patches reveal garden eels. Visibility often exceeds 15 meters. The shallow depth makes it ideal for long, relaxed dives. Watch for octopus hunting among the coral formations. Warm water temperatures year-round.
