About this site
Acuario is a dive site off Isla Tortuga in the Gulf of Nicoya, on Costa Rica's Pacific coast in Puntarenas province, reached by short boat rides from the mainland or nearby beach towns. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres along the island's fringing waters, making it a popular stop for day trips out of Puntarenas.
