About this site
The C-56 shipwreck lies off the coast near Puerto Morelos in Quintana Roo, Mexico, along the Caribbean coastline of the Yucatan peninsula. It sits at a maximum depth of about 19.8 metres over a wreck bottom and is considered a beginner-level dive, though current can run strong at times. Grouper are a regular sighting on the wreck, and divers have also reported barracuda, eagle rays, trevally, and wrasse around the site.
