About this site
La Pared lies along the Caribbean coast near Playa del Carmen, on the Yucatan Peninsula in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Despite its name, it is a shallow wall dive with a maximum depth of about 10.6 metres, rated a beginner site along the limestone reef structures typical of this stretch of coast. Divers have reported scorpionfish, sea turtles, and stingrays along the wall, though sightings vary between trips. Sites in this area are generally reached by short boat rides from town.
