C58

The C58 lies off Quintana Roo on Mexico's Caribbean coast, a deliberately sunk vessel now serving as an artificial reef. It sits at a maximum depth of around 24.5 metres over a wreck bottom, generally rated an intermediate dive with medium current and great visibility. Barracuda, eagle rays, and grouper are confirmed residents of the wreck, and divers have also reported lobster, manta ray, moray eel, parrotfish, snapper, and tuna around the structure. Some divers have noted strong currents on site, along with the need for good buoyancy control to navigate the wreck's interior and a dive light to see into its darker spaces.
