About this site
Cape Breton is a wreck site off Gabriola Island in the Strait of Georgia, on the east side of Vancouver Island in British Columbia's Gulf Islands, generally reached by boat from marinas on Gabriola or nearby Nanaimo. It's rated an advanced dive with a maximum depth of around 40 metres. Divers have reported tight swim-throughs and an overhead environment with silty conditions, so buoyancy and penetration awareness matter here, and nudibranchs have also been spotted on the wreck.
