Cape Marshall sits along the northern coast of Isabela Island, the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago, facing open water where cooler currents from the west often meet the surrounding seas. Dive operators running the northern Isabela and Fernandina circuit sometimes include it as a stop given its exposed, current-swept position along the coastline.
