About this site
Captain Point is a dive site off Pulau Dayang, an island in the Mersing archipelago on Malaysia's east coast, reached by boat from Mersing town in Johor along with other dive spots in this cluster of small islands. It sits over a reef and reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have also reported snapper and trevally around the site.
