About this site

Balicasag Island sits off the coast of Panglao, near Bohol, in the Bohol Sea region of the Visayas. The island is ringed by a narrow reef shelf that drops into deep water, and Cathedral is one of several named dive sites around its perimeter reached by boat from Panglao or Alona Beach. It is an intermediate dive to a maximum depth of around 20 metres, with light current typically making conditions manageable. Divers have reported angelfish, barracuda, damselfish, frogfish, ghost pipefish, grouper, and nudibranchs around the site.
