About this site
Rico's Wall is a wall dive site that runs on as an extension from the Cathedral, offering a continuous reef structure with good coral cover and fish life across the depth range.
The wall descends to a maximum of 40 metres, with larger fish found at depth and nicer corals and general fish life in the shallower sections. The wall features the kind of vertical relief typical of the area, giving divers the option to work different depths in a single dive.
Conditions at Rico's Wall can include strong currents, and the site is rated at intermediate level. The season runs from November to June. Scorpionfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, moray eels, trevallies, tuna, reef sharks, manta rays, and whale sharks are among the marine life associated with the site.
