About this site
Children's Pool is a small sheltered cove in La Jolla, California, on the San Diego coastline, protected by a curved seawall that keeps much of the surf out. It reaches a maximum depth of around 9.1 metres and is considered a beginner dive, in keeping with its reputation as a calm, easy entry point along that stretch of coast. The cove is also well known as a haul-out spot for harbor seals, which share the water with divers and snorkelers here.
